Privacy

Same Page is run by one person (Charlie Rhodes) so families and friend groups can plan things together. This explains exactly what it does with your data.

Signing in

You sign in with Google. Same Page receives your email address and name, and nothing else: no password, and no access to your Gmail, contacts, or anything else in your Google account. Your name and email identify you as a group's owner or admin.

What's stored

  • Your account: your name and email.
  • Whatever you create: groups, collections, and the items (meals, recipes) in them.
  • Voting outcomes: which items a group kept, and the aggregate yes/no counts per item.

Voting is private

When people vote in a session, each yes/no is stored only long enough to tally the batch. The moment a batch closes, every individual vote is deleted. Same Page keeps the totals ("4 yes, 1 no") but not who cast them. No one can see how any one person voted, during a session or after: not the other voters, not the host, not me.

People who join a session type a display name. Those names are deleted when the session ends.

What Same Page does not do

  • It never sells your data. There's nothing to sell it for; this isn't a business.
  • No ads, no third-party analytics, no trackers.
  • No AI inside the app. Your data is never sent to an outside model or service.
  • No password to leak, because sign-in is Google's.

Deleting your data

Email [email protected] to delete your account, or a group and everything in it.
